ChatGPT

Developer mode

Available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education plans on the web. Developer mode is a beta setting that enables full read and write tools. A one-click app, with no developer mode needed, is on the way.

  1. Open app settings

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps.

  2. Open advanced settings

    Under Apps, open Advanced settings.

  3. Enable developer mode

Turn on Developer mode. It’s flagged as elevated risk because it lets you add unverified connectors - that’s expected for a custom MCP server.

  4. Create the app

    Choose Create app.

  5. Enter the URL and confirm

Paste the server URL, tick I understand and want to continue, then choose Create. The name is just a label for you - Takledo, Organizer, or anything you like.

  7. Confirm it’s connected

The app now shows as connected over OAuth. You can set when ChatGPT asks for permission from here.

  8. Turn it on in a chat

In the composer’s + menu, pick Takledo to let ChatGPT call it. Then try “add 2l milk to my shopping list” or “what do I need to buy?”

Whatever ChatGPT changes shows up instantly in the Takledo web app - and the other way round.
